Lakeland RC is a not-for-profit radio-controlled model airplane club formed to promote the sport/hobby of Radio Controlled things that fly.  We are an Academy of Model Aeronautics Chartered Club - #664 - in District VII.
The club field is located ~3/4 mile West of County "P" on County "K" in Oconomowoc, WI at the Oconomowoc Airport. 
 
The club has members that fly anything from micro rc flyers to G I A N T Scale airplanes, and everything in-between; including glow, electric, gas and even the occassional jet-powered planes, helis and even the occassional glider.   The club is composed of an ecclectic group ranging in age from youth to older-than-dirt.  We all have our favorite aspect/s of the hobby but enjoy reading, talking and tinkering with all things that fly.  We have members that fly year 'round and members that wouldn't be caught out in temperatures below 60F.  For those just starting, or just starting to think about the hobby, we have member-instructors and a club trainer, along with the ability to "sign out" a simulator if so desired. 
 
At various times of the year, the club is involved with public activities, including Wings Over Waukesha, the Lakeland RC Fun Fly (open to the public for spectators and public with AMA membership for flying) and other instructional/educational events.

For those with GPS:
Latitude = N 43° 8' 34.2" (N 43.14298)
Longitude = W 88° 28' 22.6" (W 88.47294)
 
From Hwy 16 in Oconomowoc:
-> County "P" (Brown Street) North to County "K"
-> West on County "K" ~3/4 mile to the airport
-> The airport is just past McMahon Road on the
     South Side of the road.
-> Use the SECOND entrance for the airport, there is a
     sign for Lakeland RC
  
  • Start on N 110TH ST (at W PARK PL & N 110TH ST in MILWAUKEE) going toward W GOOD HOPE RD
  • Turn Right on W GOOD HOPE RD(CR-PP W) - go 0.5 mi
  • Make a U-Turn at N 115TH ST onto W GOOD HOPE RD(CR-PP E) - go 0.1 mi
  • Take ramp onto US-41 S toward US-45 S/WI-100 S - go 0.6 mi
  • Continue on US-45 S - go 3.3 mi
  • Take exit #44/CAPITOL DRIVE onto W CAPITOL DR toward CAPITAL DRIVE WEST - go 0.4 mi
  • Continue on WI-190 W - go 9.6 mi
  • Turn Right to take ramp onto WI-16 W - go 11.2 mi
  • Take exit #176/GIFFORD RD (CR-P N)/BROWN ST - go 0.3 mi
  • Turn Right on BROWN ST - go 2.4 mi
  • Turn Left on COUNTY ROAD K(CR-K) - go 0.6 mi
  • Arrive at 43.142980,-88.472940, on the Left (Oconomowoc Airport - our GPS Coordinates)

  • Starting in WATERTOWN, WI on N 4TH ST go toward E DIVISION ST - go 1.0 mi
  • Turn Right on WI-16 - go 12.7/20.5 mikm
  • Take ramp toward WI-67 N/OCONOMOWOC/MAYVILLE - go 0.3 mi
  • Turn Right on STATE ROAD 67(WI-67) toward OCONOMOWOC - go 0.30 mi
  • Turn Left on COUNTY ROAD K(CR-K) - go 1.4 mi
  • Arrive at 43.142980,-88.472940, on the Right
